Mask of sanity

I smile,
Because that's what I do best,
Stuck in a corner and I can't seem to care about the rest,
Nonetheless, I can't let them notice...I wouldn't know how to explain it,
To them my life is perfect..the kind that has no pain,
I'm the epitome of strength...I can't afford to let them down,
Aloof but I need to be seen,
A million followers still no one fits to be my confidant,
Even so, I must post to stay relevant,
But for how long?

How I wish they would see the agony behind the smile,
How I crave a little concern..it would take me another mile,
I want to have a real life..real friends..not fake,
I can't keep on pretending.. lot is at stake,
This is not me,
