Intuition
Love at first sight... having negative vibes towards a person you just met... having second thoughts about going to that party, yet you have no idea why and you cant explain it, this feeling is your intuition. Intuition is the unconscious emotional information from the brain. Some people call it the gut feeling, sixth sense or inner voice. We use intuition and analytical reasoning to make decisions but under the right circumstances intuition helps people make better decisions. For those who may be wondering if intuition can be trusted.. well, the answer is yes because intuition is more than accurate. Intuition occurs through the 4 clairs;
- Clairaudience(I hear)-The ability to hear beyond your hearing range, hearing an inner voice telling you what to do.. an example is hearing a voice in your head saying "go back". Sometimes its always good to listen to that voice because these messages guide you in a crisis.
- Claircognizance( I know)- The ability to know things and having no idea how you know them. Ideas just come out of the blue last a few seconds then disappear. Having a notepad nearby is advisable in order to note down the ideas. Most claircognizants are geniuses and artists
- Clairvoyance( I see)- Seeing numbers, images and symbols which mostly occur as a metaphor. People who have this trait tend to have vivid dreams that later happen in real life hence can predict future events. Most clairvoyants are psychics
- Clairsentience( I feel)- The ability to read the emotions of others and recognizing their feelings. People who have this trait can also read the energy of different places and are more inclined in helping people because they know how they feel. Most empaths are clairsentient
In order to be highly intuitive take time for self-analysis, reflect on your inner self and observe the different feelings by asking yourself what you're feeling and where in the body you're feeling it. Allow yourself to heal and don't be ashamed of your emotions, shut the world out for a moment, take time to recharge, disappear and go for a nature walk, release the bad energy and let your body relax. Taking breaks and listening to yourself gives your intuition breathing room and you're able to hear your inner voice more clearly and all these can be achieved by meditation and mindfulness.
Intuition can fail in some instances especially when someone is anxious, but this does not change the fact that it guides us in the right direction. Intuition isn't a feminine trait... everyone has it, get in touch with yours and learn to understand and trust your intuition.
